KURA-SAN WOODEN LINE SPOOL

Kura-san (Kazuo Kurahashi) is a tenkara angler and craftsman living in Japan. He hand crafts fly boxes and also these incredible wooden line spools. He sends me small batches at a time to offer to anglers outside of Japan, and they sell out quickly. These are the spools you see me using on my channel: youtube.com/@MostlyTenkara.

TENKARA FLY FISHING SPOOL CASE

This handmade leather case will protect your Kura-san handmade wooden spool in your pocket or bag and prevent it from getting scratched by your other gear. Get multiple in different colors for easy line identification.

The pocket in the back holds a tippet / line card perfectly. It can also be used for your fishing license, credit card, etc. This makes a wonderfully compact package for your spool, line and tippet.

This will also fit some other line spools, including some from Dennis of TenkaraPath here on Etsy. Made from Italian Buttero leather.
